About Dr. Dunn
Hi, I'm Megan.
I'm a licensed psychologist in California (PSY39752) specializing in evidence-based therapy for anxiety, stress, insomnia, burnout, chronic pain, health-related concerns, and life transitions.
I completed my postdoctoral training at the San Francisco VA Medical Center, where I specialized in evidence-based treatments for anxiety, chronic pain, and behavioral health. The Bay Area is home — I understand the pace, the pressures, and what it takes to thrive here.
My approach is collaborative, practical, and goal-oriented. I draw from CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based approaches to help you develop effective coping strategies, improve daily functioning, and create meaningful, lasting change.
All sessions are conducted securely via telehealth for adults residing in California.

Do you have an office in San Francisco or the East Bay?
All sessions are conducted via secure telehealth video — there is no in-person office. This means you can see me from your home, office, or anywhere else in California with a reliable internet connection.
I work in tech. Is that kind of stress something you treat?
Yes. I work with a lot of high-achieving professionals navigating burnout, performance anxiety, imposter syndrome, and the pressure that comes with fast-paced, demanding careers. These are real, treatable problems — not personal failings.
I travel a lot for work. Can I still attend sessions?
As long as you are physically located in California at the time of the session, yes. Many of my clients attend from airports, hotels, and work trips within the state.
